On June 22, the "2021 High Quality Energy Development Forum" jointly sponsored by China Energy News and China Energy Economics Research Institute was held in Beijing. On the occasion of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the beginning of the 14th Five Year Plan, the conference was themed "inheriting the century old red gene to promote green transformation and development". During the round table dialogue, enterprises discussed the current new technologies, new business formats, and opportunities and challenges faced by enterprises.

Wu Linyong, Deputy General Manager of Longji Clean Energy: Double carbon goals bring opportunities and challenges to new energy enterprises

The targets of carbon neutralization and carbon peaking have brought deep influence and change to new energy product manufacturing and construction enterprises.

First, let enterprises re recognize themselves. Under the dual carbon target, new energy, especially photovoltaic, will exist as the main power source, and the industry and enterprises have a bright prospect.

Second, the enterprise has a great responsibility. As the main power supply in the future, how can PV better support the construction of new power systems? How to play the role of photovoltaic enterprises on the power generation side and consumer side? These are problems that need to be considered urgently.

Third, change the perspective of thinking. In the past, it was more from the power generation side to think about how to increase the proportion of clean energy. The dual carbon goal requires us to think more from the perspective of "carbon" and help different regions and industries achieve decarbonization, which is both an opportunity and a challenge.

We will develop solutions suitable for the region and industry according to the characteristics of the region and industry. For example, for different resource endowments in different regions, as well as different power and energy composition structures, promote photovoltaic environmental governance, ecological restoration and other solutions according to local conditions. Combined with the production process of mining, chemical and other industries, help them find a better decarbonization program.
